City of Paea

Located on the west coast of Tahiti, Paea is a good distance from the urban area of Papeete and Punaauia. The mountains are untouched by any construction and its lagoon offers a pretty turquoise palette. Many places are of cultural or natural interest, such as the great marae of Arahurahu or the Orofero valley and its many basins. The valleys and their ramparts are ideal for hiking and offer spectacular views. The Mara’a Caves are one minute from the marina.
